City Blocks Added to KGIS Web Sites

KGIS has now made City Ward and City Block numbers available to the general public on its public website, www.kgis.org and to internal departments on new.kgis.net. This new information is now included under "Parcel Information" on the right side of the screen in the Details section. It can be accessed by activating the "IDENTIFY" icon and then clicking inside the subject parcel boundary. For parcels outside the City limits (where there are no city wards or blocks), the "Ward:" and "City Block:" fields will be blank. This new ability should be helpful to many users, especially surveyors and engineers. The Property Map and Details report, and KGIS Lite also have been updated to include these values.
