KGIS Coordinating Committee meeting July 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the KGIS Office.

The User Group Meeting scheduled for Monday, July 29th has been cancelled.  The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 26th. 

On June 17, 2013, the old Intra-net portal (at http://new.kgis.net) and its MyKNOXnetWhere mapping app will be retired, and we're excited about completing our enterprise-wide system and web upgrades. User departments will want to begin using KGIS's flagship application KGIS Maps (which is also public accessible) or the newly released KGIS Advanced Maps (which can be accessed by any networked user account). 

A Google Maps interactive map "mashup" of Central Business Improvement District (CBID)-approved grants has been created by the Property Scope Blog's Josh Flory. KGIS's new KGIS Advanced Maps application has some capabilities that will also allow one to "mash up" or import data and view it on the map....KGIS plans to demo this capability at one of the future Users Group meetings.
