On Tuesday, June 17th, 2014, several old features classes in the KGIS database were removed since they were no longer being maintained. MPC is now maintaining re-designed, and less-complicated,  feature classes located in their shared MPC project space. Therefore, any ArcGIS users whose map documents (.mxds) or  templates reference the older data will want to "re-point" them to the newer ones.

The diagram below shows how one needs to "re-map" the older features to the newer ones. Any map documents whose layers reference the "old", retired ones will be highlighted in ArcGIS with a red exclamation point, which indicates that the feature class could "not be found". Those layers should be removed and replaced with Layers that reference the newer feature classes.

Layer files for the Parks and Greenways are located in the Layers folder on the ArcMapDataManagement fileshare (on KGISCCPRFS1 machine). If you have trouble connecting to this fileshare, please contact Chris Halcomb (at 215-3906) or John Edwards (at 215-3130) here at KGIS.
