KGIS extends THANKS to MPC's Gretchen Beal

We have learned that Gretchen Beal will be retiring from her 
position of Director of Information Services with MPC effective Dec. 16, 2010. Gretchen has been with MPC for more than 37 years, and has been involved with mapping –related activities since KGIS’ inception back in 1985. She was especially instrumental in establishing a standardized addressing ordinance for all of Knox County, and understands the many intricacies of the subdivision and street naming workflows. Thank you Gretchen for your years of service, and we wish you the fondest wishes for great times ahead.
