MPC has recommended some changes to the FEMA Flood zones map on the KGIS viewers. Many people, even city and county staff cannot readily interpret what they see when they turn on the FEMA layers. So, the recommended changes have been added to the FEMA maps and the changes are: Add the words Floodway, 100 yr flood, and 500 yr flood to the labels on the map, also the legend was modified to show more information about the FEMA Flood polygons.
